​There summer may be officially over but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. Enjoy the Fall with the beautiful colourful trees with the kids playing their favourite sports in the playground or splashing in the water. Bring your own boat or rent one nearby to explore your surroundings. With popular fish species such as pike, bass and pickerel, just to name a few, there is something to do for everyone.

Sit on the front deck and enjoy the morning sunrise or relax in the evening by the fire.

ATV trails and snowmobile trails easily accessible from the cottage

Whether you are coming from the Toronto, another part of Ontario or Quebec, the trails are easily accessible and completely connected and will make for a great ATV adventure with all the comfort of knowing there is support and amenities readily available throughout the entire Eastern Ontario Trails Alliance network.

Fall Fun

​Come FALL in love with Kawartha Cottage Country!

The fully winterized cottage has a large back deck, a Charcoal BBQ for outdoor cooking, and a fire pit for evening marshmallow roasts. The water quality is really clear and wonderful for swimming if you can brave the cold water. There is a safe shallow wading and swimming area and a park with a play structure for children.

The Marina

The Marina is just a few minutes away. You can rent a boat or grab a quick bite to eat. 

Public Dock and Beach

A public dock and a public beach are just a 2 minute walk away. Enjoy the afternoons frolicking in the clean clear water of Sturgeon Lake and enjoy an evening watching the sunset over the horizon. 

Large Deck

A large deck with a patio table, chairs and a Charcoal BBQ is great for entertaining and eating while enjoying the cottage life.

Large Master Bedroom

The larger bedroom has a queen-size bed and a twin sized daybed with a twin trundle bed. There is still enough room to fit another queen air mattress as well. This room can easily sleep 4 people with the potential for 6. All rooms have baseboard heaters.

Small Bedroom

This small simple bedroom has plenty of potential. With a single bunk on the top and a double on the bottom plus an extra mattress you can put on there floor, this bedroom can easily sleep 4 people comfortably. The house is winterized and each room has baseboard heaters so it can be available to rent all year round.

3 Piece Washroom

Small but simple this washroom has everything you need. A doorless shower, flush toilet, sink and hot running water. We run off of a septic.

Open Concept Kitchen/Dining Room

Our cottage is self catering, spacious and spotless! Make yourself feel right at home. The cottages include most things, fully well equipped kitchens should come with such as dishes, pot pans, cutlery, mugs, glassware, tea kettle, microwave, full size stove, full size fridge with freezer table & chairs.

Fall Colors Getaway

The weather is still nice in September, warm days and cool nights for sleeping. The leaves start turning colour around the middle of September and normally reach their peak colours around the last week of September and first week of October.

Enjoy a wade-in sandy beach or a bonfire amongst the stars. For fishing enthusiasts there’s plenty to catch! Bass, Walleye, Perch & Musky just to name a few. It’s the perfect getaway and only 2 hours NE of the GTA near the town of Bobcaygeon. Maximum occupancy is up to 10 guests. Pets are welcome.
